Ernest Appau Asumang was appointed the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of the Company in 2019. Before his appointment as the CFO, Ernest served as the Head of Accounts of GLICO Life, after holding other management positions within GLICO Life and GLICO Group.

Ernest Appau Asumang joined GLICO in January 2008 as a Senior Audit Officer having worked with and obtained extensive experience from Kwesie and Baah Consultants and later Osei Kwabena and Associates (both Chartered Accountants).

The pursuit of his professional career also took him to Ghana Post Company Limited as an Assistant Manager, Audit, and Metro Mass Transit Ltd as Senior Auditor.

Ernest holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Finance from the University of Cape Coast and a Bachelor of Arts- Social Sciences from the University of Ghana, Legon.

Professionally, he is a Chartered Accountant and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana.
