Chief Sales Officer (Individual Life Sales)

Joseph Sefah Duah has thirteen years of experience in the insurance industry in Ghana. He was appointed the Chief Sales Officer, Individual Life, in 2019 after working with Prudential Life Insurance Company (Prudential Life) as a National Sales Manager for a number of years.

At Prudential Life, Joseph also held other prior positions including being the Head of Agency Development. He was also the first Head of Recruitment and Selection at Prudential Life and is largely credited with championing the Recruitment and Selection philosophy that is driving sales at Prudential Life.

Previously, he was the Head of Marketing and Sales at Quality Insurance Company and the Head of Business Development at KEK Insurance Brokers. Before entering into the insurance industry, Joseph worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and also as a Soldier with the British Army. Joseph has attended various insurance training courses, seminars, and conferences in Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Dubai) and the United Kingdom.

Joseph successfully completed his university education in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences (Economics and Sociology) from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the University of Ghana Business School and a Masters in Population Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon (2003).

He holds a Diploma in Insurance (CII-UK), a Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from KNUST.
