POLICY ON CLAIMS

At GLICO LIFE, we promise to pay claims on time (within 48 hours) when all necessary documentations have been completed. Some claims are processed instantly and paid at the office. Some types of claims too are processed and the policyholder is notified to pick up the claim money at their chosen GCB Bank, NIB Bank or Barclays Bank.

Irrespective of the claim been made, the following are the procedures:

  • Notify GLICO LIFE on the claim being made
  • Pick and complete the correct claim form
  • Submit the forms with:
    • A valid ID card
    • Policy document/certificate
  • GLICO LIFE will process the claim and contact you for collection within two working days

 

DEATH CLAIMS

In making a death claim, the following are the procedures:

  • Notify GLICO LIFE on the claim being made
  • Pick and complete the correct a death claim form
  • Submit the forms with:
    • Death extract
    • Passport picture of the claimant
    • A valid ID card
    • Policy document/certificate
  • GLICO LIFE will process the claim and contact you for collection within two working days

GROUP/ CORPORATE POLICY HOLDERS

GLICO LIFE does not deal personally or directly with individuals or employees with regards to GROUP Policies.

In the event of an accident or death, you are required to report any claimable event to your superior or Human Resource Manager, who would then give you a claim form to complete for onward submission to GLICO LIFE.

GLICO Life shall then process the claim and pay any amount involved through the employer.
